FORMER Presentation Secondary School student, Alice Jaeger, returned to her alma mater on Tuesday, December 20 to receive an award on behalf of the school in recognition of receiving the highest marks in Leaving cert Higher level Art in 2016.
All Art students in the school attended the ceremony together with Art teachers Mr. Alan O’Sullivan and Ms. Lily O’Sullivan as well as Alice’s proud mother Inez.

Addressing those present, Principal Ms. O’Keeffe spoke of Alice’s tremendous achievement and how Alice’s work ethic and dedication to her Art projects had paid off.
Mr. O’Sullivan, who taught Alice for Leaving Cert, also addressed the students present, encouraging them to take pride in Alice’s achievement and to continue working creatively in Art class so that they too may achieve equal success in their Art studies.
