PRESENTATION NS, Tralee has won €500 in the Lee Strand Cash 4 Schools May Draw.
Mighty Mikey Milk created lots of excitement when he visited Presentation NS in Tralee this week to present a cheque of €500.
Speaking at the presentation, Principal Patrick Sayers said; “The news that we had won the monthly Cash 4 Schools Draw was received with much excitement. We were delighted to welcome Lee Strand and Mighty Mikey Milk to our school to present us with our prize.
“We look forward to spending the money on classroom resources for the new school year. The children have really taken to the Cash 4 Schools programme, with tokens deposited in the collection boxes daily and sorting and counting done by Ms. Hickson and the girls from third class. It is great to support and be supported by a local company like Lee Strand, who also provide the students with their Homework Diaries and welcome classes on visits to their local headquarters. We had a wonderful day and the children were really excited to meet Mighty Mikey Milk in person! Thanks to everyone at Lee Strand,” said the Principal.
John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Lee Strand said; “Lee Strand would like to congratulate Presentation NS, in Tralee the fourth winners in the Cash 4 Schools €500 draw this year. A total of €2,000 was presented this year to the following four schools, Glenderrry NS, Ballyheigue; Scoil Bhreac Chluain, Annascaul; Spa NS, Tralee and Presentation NS, Tralee. We would like to thank every schools who entered the monthly draws this year and wish teachers and pupils an enjoyable summer.”
