The week is all about promoting getting active, eating healthy and having fun. The school will run a range of activities over the week to promote the initiative, from a ten minute Zumba session every morning before class, to replacing traditional homework with physical activity as homework every evening.

A ‘Walk to School’ has been organised for every Wednesday morning at 8.30, where children, parents and teachers will meet at Siamsa Tíre, walk right around the park, in by St John’s  and into the School.

Weather permitting, the school will hold their annual sports day on Friday, with fun and sports of all kinds taking place all day.
