PRESENTATION Secondary has announced their major fundraiser for this year which is a night at the dogs on November 25 in Kingdom Greyhound Stadium.
Funds raised will go towards improve facilities for students. They hope to erect a commercial-sized poly tunnel, which will be used to grow vegetables at the school.
This will allow the girls to learn all about the different principles of horticulture and biodiversity. They hope to further promote biodiversity by planting native species of trees around the grounds of the school.
Along with the environmental projects the school is also looking to upgrade their computer and wireless network. Tickets are €10 and are available from the school as well as on the night.
