Kacper, has been re-elected for a second term, and in the year ahead he will work alongside his fellow Regional Officer Elizabeth O’Connor who took up her role on January 1st.

Elizabeth is enthusiastic about representing Kerry’s secondary level students. She is committed to her new role and strives to be a voice for students who were previously unheard.

“I will advocate to be the spokesperson for those who may not have the courage to speak out. I will embrace this unique opportunity and I strive to be approachable to all of our students in Kerry,” said Elizabeth.

Kacper is passionate about student council engagement and seeks to strengthen Student Voice in Kerry, saying; “Students are an integral stakeholder in the education system. Their views must be heard on any issues that may directly impact their lives now and in the future. Today, more than ever, students need clarity around the State Exams and issues concerning their school lives”.

Kacper also said; “It is vital that Student Councils are up and running. Over the past year I have seen a great level of engagement around Kerry Schools, which I hope to further develop in the year ahead as Regional Officer”.
