Prices At The Pumps Rise By Eight Cents Per Litre Since August

THE price of petrol and diesel at the filling station pumps around Tralee has risen by around four cent per litre since we last did a survey eleven weeks ago.

But looking a little further back, the cheapest price back on August 10 for petrol was €1.26 per litre compared to €1.34 now, so that’s an eight cent difference in around four months.

In our regular check on the prices of fuel, it shows that most garages are between the €1.34 and €1.35 (€1.24 and €1.25 for diesel) per litre mark compared with the cheapest price of €1.29.9 on October 5.

Four stations have the same price of €1.34.5 at €1.24.5 per litre, while most of the other come within a cent of that price.
