Xmas jumper

Such a good look.

IT’S time to grab that gorgeous garment that’s spent the last 11 months at the back of the wardrobe and wear it proudly again as the 2015 Radio Kerry Christmas Jumper Day is almost upon us.

A now annual event to raise funds of the work of St Vincent de Paul in Kerry, it will take place on Friday, December 11. In 2014 this one day event raised over €10,000.  This money was used by St Vincent de Paul to provide assistance to Kerry families in need.

Once again this year they are encouraging students, family members, colleagues, businesses and their customers to wear a Christmas Jumper on the day and ask that every individual makes a minimum donation of €2 to St Vincent de Paul.

You can donate directly to your local St Vincent de Paul office or shop in Kerry or drop your donation in to Radio Kerry, Maine Street, Tralee or Glebe Lane, Killarney and they will get the money to St Vincent de Paul.

Send your photos and details of the amount of the money you have raised to Radio Kerry via their Facebook or Twitter pages or email  svp@radiokerry.ie and if you’d like a visit from the Radio Kerry team to your school or business contact them at the same email address or call 066 7123666.

Donate €2 to St Vincent de Paul by texting SVP to 50300.  100% of your donation goes to St. Vincent de Paul South West across most network operators. Some operators apply VAT which means that a minimum of €1.63 will go to St. Vincent de Paul South West. Service Provider: LIKECHARITY. Helpline: 076 680 5278.

Radio Kerry’s 11 to 1 Club will be broadcast from the main supporter of the event, McElligott’s Garage on the Listowel Road in Tralee, on Friday, December 11.
Here’s the Radio Kerry staff donating last year…
