Rain And Wind Warnings For Tuesday And Wednesday

A Status Yellow Wind and Rain warning has been issued for Kerry and nine other counties for  part of tomorrow and again on Wednesday.

Met Éireann says strong to near gale force and gusty southeast to south winds on Tuesday morning and afternoon.

These winds will be accompanied by heavy rain clearing to squally showers through the afternoon, with hazardous driving conditions and localised flooding possible.

The warnings are for Kerry, Clare, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo. They are valid from 4am to 3pm on Tuesday.

Then at 10pm on Tuesday night another Status Yellow Wind and rain warning for the whole country will come into effect until 3pm on Wednesday.
