More heavy rain is forecast for tomorrow.

MET Eireann has just issued another rainfall warning for Kerry for tomorrow.

While we can expect a dry enough New Year’s Eve tonight, in what is a relentless barrage of terrible weather, Kerry and Cork have been put on Status Yellow rainfall alert from 9am on Friday to 9am on Saturday.

Rain is expected on Friday and overnight, but should turn more showery during Saturday morning.

Rainfall totals of 25 to 35 mm are expected, with possibly higher totals on mountains.

Hopefully it’s bark will be worse than its bite and people in badly hit areas around Killarney and Killorglin will get some reprieve.
