RECOVERY Haven is holding a free talk in The Killarney Oaks Hotel on Wednesday, October 19 at 7.30pm.
The event is part of Cancer Week Ireland is taking placeable next week. This national initiative hopes to raise awareness of cancer and advances in care and treatment.
The talk will shine a light on cancer, how to prevent it, spot it and treat it.
Speakers on the night include Dr. Deirdre O’ Mahony Consultant Medical Oncologist CUH & UHK, Dr Eamon Shanahan General Practitioner, Mr. Eddie Myers ANP Gastroenterology UHK and Regina Galvin Dietitian UHK.
