ONLINE registration for the Ring of Kerry Cycle will reopen once again this Saturday.
Registration for the cycle opened on Tuesday afternoon, but due to unprecedented traffic on the website, it was forced to temporarily close only a few hours later.
A statement for the Ring of Kerry Cycle said:
“We are satisfied that all technical issues experienced on Tuesday have been resolved and that controls are now in place to prevent similar problems happening again.”
“Although we have been reassured that the system will be able to cope with the volume of registrations we would ask people to be patient and be prepared to experience some delays.”
“Once again we apologise for the inconvenience caused on Tuesday and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.”
