The swing bridge at Lohercannon will be closed on Saturday morning from 9am to 1pm to facilitate repairs.
IF you’re thinking of using the road from Lohercannon out to Dingle tomorrow morning then you need to be aware of this.
Kerry County Council have issued a notice “advising that essential maintenance and repairs are to be carried out on the canal swing bridge at Hare Street, Lohercannon, on Saturday, November 23 between 9am and 1pm. A road closure and detour will be in place. Kerry County Council appreciates your co-operation in this matter”.
This obviously doesn’t affect motorists coming and going on the main Tralee to Blennerville road, although be warned the road might be a bit busier in the morning.
