CHRISTMAS came a little early for one lucky member of Tralee Credit Union when she won a new car.
At the Tralee Credit Union AGM on Monday last, one lucky member was picked as the winner of the Tralee Credit Union’s Members Car Draw.
Roberta Kelly from Fountain Court in Tralee picked up the keys to her brand new 172 Ford Focus from Kerry Motor Works at the Credit Union at Ashe Street on Monday afternoon.
“I was absolutely shocked when I received the call,” said Roberta. “I have had a really difficult year with two family bereavements so this has really lifted my spirts. When I got the call, I couldn’t believe it. It has really made our Christmas.”

Tralee Credit Union’s Car Draw has been in operation since 2008 and Roberta become their 38th Car Draw Winner.
Tralee Credit Union runs their car draw four times a year at cost of €6 per draw. The surplus funds left over this year was raffled out to their car draw members in the form of cash prizes at the AGM and 37 members won prizes totalling €23,000.
