THIS year is a very special one for everyone associated with Austin Stacks.

The club is celebrating its centenary and is in the process of finalising their calendar events for a year of celebration. One event which is sure to be well-attended is a Centenary Corporate Lunch next month.

Past players and the current coach were among those present at the launch of the event at the clubhouse on Monday evening.

The event will be held in Ballygarry House Hotel on Friday, February 24 and the event is already 80% sold out.

The cost is €1,000 for a table of 10  (businesses, families etc) or pro-rata for smaller numbers with all funds raised going towards the continued development of the ‘Nun’s Field’.

Two years ago this was an unrivalled success with over 500 people enjoying a great day with excellent food, wine and entertainment  – including a special guest appearance from Joe Brolly. It’s sure to be a fantastic afternoon.

It promises to be a day to remember with a wealth of past and present Austin Stacks and Kerry heroes in attendance. For more information on how to purchase tickets please log onto www.austinstacks.ie or email secretary.austinstacks.kerry@ gaa.ie
