AUSTIN STACKS GAA faithful will come together for a ‘Rockie Night at the Dogs’ in aid of the ongoing development at their Connolly Park grounds.

The whole thing takes place on May 22 at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium and is expected to be a mega night of fun, surprises, local rivalry and sport.

Catering for huge numbers of juvenile players in particular, the Rock is a substantial community enterprise which needs top class facilities to cater for its ever growing membership.

There is a massive push on now redevelop the ‘Nuns Field’ in Connolly Park.

Kieran Donaghy was at the launch and urged everyone to come out and support the night.

“The club is doing a top class job for the youth of the town, and I would appeal to anyone interested in the Stacks, the GAA as a whole or the future of the youth of Tralee to please help us in this venture” he said.

The club chairman, Aidan O’Connor, also spoke of the ongoing work in Connolly Park.

“Any visitor to Connolly park in the past week will see a hive of development activity taking place in the “Nun’s Field “ and this greyhound night is a key part in bringing the development dream to fruition. We need everyone’s support for what will be a great social night,” he said.

Tickets are available for sale from club members.
