ST Stephen’s Day is normally one where we reflect on the culinary carnage we’ve inflicted on our stomachs from the previous day, but here’s something to help redeem yourself.

Tralee Rugby Club is hosting its annual St Stephen’s Day 3k & 5k Fun Run in aid of their under age development.

It’s a great event, open to all, to walk or run off the turkey/wine/ham/eight boxes of chocolates consumed in the previous 24 hours.

Registration for the run takes place at 12.15pm with the run beginning at 1pm. It costs €5 for children/students, €10 for adults and €20 max for a family.

The Fun Run precedes the annual Tralee RFC v Exiles rugby match which kicks off at 2pm and promises as ever to be an entertaining afternoon with some “golden oldies” hinting at making an appearance this year.

All support on the day is most welcome and proceeds from the Exiles game will be donated to charity as is the tradition over the years.

Anyone interested can get in contact with the club on their facebook page or on their website at www.traleerugby.com
