THERE is excitement around St. Brendan’s NS, Fenit, as the children prepare for their upcoming fundraiser for the school, which will take place on Saturday, March 19.

The Fenit Coastal Cycle, now an annual event, will be a fantastic opportunity to dust off the cobwebs from your bike after the winter months and to begin your springtime training as part of your Ring of Kerry preparation or indeed just for fun.

The children at St Brendan’s Fenit NS looking forward to the Fenit Coastal Cycle.

There will be a 25km and 60km route catered to all abilities, while the children themselves are preparing to participate in either the 1km or 10km children’s route depending on their cycling experience and ability.

In previous years, the school has had the backing of some very generous sponsors and hope they come on board for another successful event again this year. The fundraiser is a perfect example of the whole community coming together to support their local school and provide all our cyclists with their now famous Fenit hospitality pre and post cycle.

This year, Fenit Coastal Cycle is delighted to support Down Syndrome Kerry. A donation of the monies raised will go directly to the Down Syndrome Kerry charity. For further details, please contact Jacinta Lawlor on 0860648018
