Samaritans Hope Public Join Them For ‘Brew Monday’

WITH next Monday infamously branded ‘Blue Monday’ by the media, the local branch of the Samaritans are asking the public make it a little easier by joining them for a fundraiser.

‘Blue Monday’ is somehow regarded as the day the Christmas bills accumulate and well-intentioned new year resolutions fall by the wayside. The cold and rain doesn’t help much either.

The good people in the Kerry branch of the Samaritans have decided to turn this on its head by calling the third Monday in January ‘Brew Monday’.

They are asking you to join others by getting together with friends, family or work colleagues for a free cuppa and a chat and maybe even have a bit of craic at their free coffee morning in Tralee International Resource Centre, 13-14 St Patrick’s bungalows, Boherbee, Tralee, next Monday   from 10am-1pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along and have a cuppa and a catch up. There will also be a donation box on the day to help cover the cost if anyone wishes to donate to the Kerry branch of the Samaritans.

The Samaritans free phone number is available to anyone 24/7 on 116123 or email jo@samaritans.org
