A TRALEE girl, who died two years ago, will be remembered again next month at the third annual Tralee 5Km Santa Fun Run.
The event, which takes place on Sunday, December 13 at 11am, has been hugely successful over the past two years and has raised over €20,000, all of which went towards charity.
The chosen beneficiaries of this year’s run are ‘Heart Children Ireland’ which has an association with Crumlin Children’s Hospital.

Fiona Moore from Tralee, died in May 2013 at the age of 16 from primary pulmonary hypertension, while awaiting a lung transplant. The event has been held in her memory ever since.
Runners are encouraged to take part dressed as Santa or be decked out in a Christmas-related outfit.
The route will start at the Wetlands and head out the canal to Blennerville, then turn back in by Kearney’s Road, ending at the Wetlands.
Last year’s run was just shy of 1,000 runners so this year they will be looking to break that amount with another terrific turn out of Santa’s.
You can signup for the run HERE. Entry is €5 for under 16s, €10 for adults, €20 for a family of 4. Pets are free.
