Seamus Harty To Play On National Radio Show Tonight

HE’S been featured on a national news website in the past few weeks and now Seamus Harty will get more great exposure on a popular radio show tonight (Tuesday).

The Tralee singer/songwriter will appear on Louise Duffy’s ‘Ireland’s Sonic Youth’ show which starts at 7pm.

The series was born out of the volume of musical talent on offer currently from Ireland’s youth, so Seamus was invited after coming to Louise’s attention through her husband Paul Galvin.

The 16 year old singer/songwriter was featured in a story on BreakingNews.ie and the Irish Examiner by Tralee woman, Anna O’Donoghue late last month gaining valuable exposure.

He was highlighted in the story as one to watch due to his undoubted talent and featured videos of his songs from Facebook and Instagram.

Seamus, the son of Roger Harty and Bríd Murphy, is a fifth year in Mercy Mounthawk can be seen busking from time to time in town and beyond, as well as acting recently in ‘My Fair Lady’ on the Siamsa stage.
