THE league kicked off on Sunday and Kerry secured a deserved win against Tyrone at Fitzgerald Stadium.
While there were many good performances, the people at GAA.ie thought Sean O’Shea from Kenmare was the best of them and he was one of three nominees for their Football Player Of The Week.
It was announced this afternoon that the Kerry forward had won, earning 8, 351 votes on the Official GAA Instagram page with Mayo’s Jason Doherty second with 6,863 and Monaghan’s Jack McCarron third with 5,120 votes.
O’Shea was excellent for Kerry and the highlight was his point from the sideline which was reminiscent of the great Maurice Fitzgerald.
