Gardaí investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, in his 50s, in Tralee, have made a second arrest.
As a result of investigations, a man in his early 30s has been arrested and is currently detained at Killarney Garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Shortly after 7pm, last night, Gardai and Emergency Services attended at an apartment in the Abbey Court apartment complex, where a man in his 50s was discovered with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
A man in his 50s was arrested in relation to the incident and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Tralee Garda Station. Investigations are ongoing.
