THE beautiful grounds of Ballyseede Castle Hotel will host two very special open-air performances next week which will help out a local charity.

Jane Austen’s classic, ‘Sense And Sensibility’, will be performed by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company and tickets are still available for the two performances on Tuesday, June 28 and Wednesday, June 29.

The company is renowned for putting on amazing performances at the hotel grounds for the past seven years and hundreds attended a sold-out performance of ‘Wuthering Heights’ last year, as the rain held off ensuring a great evening for all.

In a kind gesture by the hotel, the profits from the first performance next Tuesday will go to the Chernobyl Children’s Project.

For tickets call 066 712 5799. Tickets are €17 for adults with a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) for €48. Gates open 5pm with the performance beginning at 6pm. People are asked to bring their own rugs or low-backed seating as chairs are limited.
