Performers in Siamsa Tíre’s ‘An Ghaoth Aniar’.
SIAMSA Tíre will share the closing scene from An Ghaoth Aniar through a special YouTube digital screening on Culture Night which takes place this Friday.
An Ghaoth Aniar (The Wind from the West) premiered in Siamsa Tíre on August 22, 2018. It formed part of the 2018 and 2019 seasons where it received great reaction from audiences and countless standing ovations throughout the run.
The scene to be screened, ‘Ón Farraige’ – from the Ocean, combines the sounds of the wild west coast with traditional Irish music and dance.
