Siamsa To Give A Taste Of ‘Anam’ In The Square During Food Festival

SIAMSA Tíre, the National Folk Theatre of Ireland is inviting the public to join them for a free open-air performance this Sunday as part of the Tralee Food Festival.

Taking place at 2pm at the bandstand in the Square, Tralee the National Folk Theatre will open its 51st season of Irish music, song and dance productions, with a taste of ‘Anam’.

Join the ‘best dance party in town’ as Anam presents an exhilarating, upbeat fusion of hard shoe step dancing styles from US, Canada and Ireland woven cleverly together with personality, humour and superb Irish traditional music.

The cast for this year’s summer season of performances will reach over 100 performers comprising of multi-talented champion dancers, singers and musicians all professionally trained in the Siamsa style.

This year they will perform across five different productions – Anam, Óileán, Fadó Fadó, Turas and An Ghaoth Aniar — for national and international audiences every night at 8.30pm from Monday May 6th through to Sunday 22nd September 2018.
