Hanna O’Connell received a lovely surprise on St Valentines Day when a couple of flags arrived at her door signed by former Munster and current Racing 92 rugby star Simon Zebo,
Hanna, who has Cystic Fibrosis, hit the headlines over the past couple of years thanks to the eventually successful campaign to get access to the Orkambi drug to treat her and others who suffer from the illness.
She has met Simon on a few occasions on trips to Thomond Park with her mom, Marisa Reidy and the flag present was arranged by a mutual friend.
But there was a bonus surprise for Hanna. When Marisa tweeted the star to thank him, Simon tweeted back saying he would fly Hanna and Marisa to a home game of their choice in Paris.

Amazing gesture from a class guy. Marisa and Hanna were understandably over the moon.
