Sixth Class Pupils At Moyderwell Say Farewell To Primary Schooldays

MOYDERWELL’S 6th class pupils celebrated their graduation before breaking up for the school holidays.

The proceedings began with a wonderful performance from the school choir comprised of pupils from 4th , 5th and 6th classes,with a medley of songs from the 80s .

Following on from that, Mrs Quinlan thanked the 6th class pupils for their contribution to Moyderwell school life over the past 8 years, congratulated them on their excellent sporting and academic achievements this year  and wished them happiness, success, good  health and resilience for the future.

Adrian and Anna on behalf of their classmates thanked their parents, class teachers and all staff members who have guided and helped them in many different ways during their time in Moyderwell.

The school hall was decorated with profile pictures of the graduates along with art work highlighting their memories of their school years.

Each pupil received a certificate and a copy of their class photo along with a recollection of local and world events that occurred in their final primary school year.

Choir members were celebrated and received plaques to honour their commitment. The Tradshed group, entertained the audience in advance of the much awaited ‘Down Memory Lane ‘ slideshow, a collection of photographs which gave a flavour of the many activities and experiences the pupils have had from their Junior Infant days right up to 6th class. The night concluded with tea and  coffee, chats and recollections .
