Southdoc Takes Precautions As A Result Of COVID-19

SOUTHDOC will have consolidated model of out of hours service delivery from 8am on Saturday, as a result of COVID-19.

Southdoc has reassured patients they will be dealt with and no patient will be left untreated. All calls will be dealt with by way of doctor advice in the first instance.

If a consultation is required patients will be advise to go to a Treatment Centre, make their arrival known to a staff member and remain outside.

Southdoc says this measure is to ensure the protection of the health and wellbeing of the doctor, the patient and the staff. Under no circumstances will any person be allowed access to a treatment centre without speaking to a doctor.

Doctors are working normally, but for safety reasons house visits are unlikely. Southdoc treatment centre in Kerry are in Tralee, Killarney, Dingle and Cahersiveen. Southdoc number is 1850 335 999.
