Special Kerry Camino Event In Tralee Next Week

FOR those of you interested in the Kerry Camino, there is a special event next week where you can hear all about the event.

Camino Conversations ‘Walking The Kerry & Spanish Caminos’ is on at St’ Johns Church Ashe Street on Thursday, March 14 at 7.30pm.

Guest speakers will be Donal Stack, historian and guide of Ardfert Cathedral and authority on St. Brendan; Fr. Sean Hanafin, Camino de Santiago pilgrim and  John Aherne, Founding Member of The Kerry Camino.

There will also be the launch of the new Kerry Camino logo and brochure. This is a free event and all are welcome.  Details are also available on by clicking here

The Kerry Camino is a three day walking festival beginning on Friday, May 3 at St. John’s church on Castle St. Tralee.

Day 1  will be a walk from Tralee to Camp Village. Option to stay in Camp or return by bus to Tralee.

Day 2 on Saturday, May 4, will consist Walk from Camp village to Annascaul town with a barbecue to be enjoyed. There will be an option to stay in Annascaul or return to Tralee.

Sunday will see a walk from Annascaul to finish at St. James Church in Dingle where participants will receive a certificate of completion.
