SUNNY Days Montessori is a sessional Montessori school conveniently located just off the Ballymullen Road.
It caters for children aged between 2 years 8 months to 5 years 6 months who are eligible for the ECCE scheme.
Sunny Days is owned and run by Laura O’Shea, a mother of two and a qualified Montessori teacher.
Laura has an Advanced Diploma in Montessori Education and an Advanced Diploma in Supervision in Childcare.

The Montessori method of education is based on the idea that children learn by doing and by being active. They also learn by having fun!
At Sunny Days we offer a wide-ranging curriculum and activities that will encourage independence, creativity and decision making while also allowing plenty of opportunities for play.
Our small sized class helps to develop your child’s social skills and allows for a better connection between the children themselves and their teacher.
At Sunny Days we understand the importance of regular out-door activities. It helps children build resilience and encourages them to use their imagination while also giving them the chance for more social interactions through play.

Outdoor play also promotes the development of gross motor skills through activities like running, jumping, throwing and balancing.
As well as a bright stimulating indoor classroom we are lucky to also have an outdoor classroom complete with an all-weather canopy.
The children can sit here and do their table-top activities, eat their snack or just chat in the fresh air.

They can also spend time in our beautiful garden where the children can have great fun playing in the playhouse, making wonderful dishes in the mud-kitchen restaurant, digging for treasure in the sand box or creating new games to play with their friends.
