“The garden used to be an afterthought for a lot of Irish people. Now it’s a space for leisure, entertaining, gardening, rest, and relaxation. The decade of the garden has arrived, and we need key personnel to help capitalise on that opportunity” added Nathan.

The roles Ballyseedy are looking to fill are:

Junior and Senior Horticulturist – full and part-time roles available. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable in a retail environment ordering and managing stock as well as working on large outside landscaping jobs. Our business is very customer focussed and the right candidate needs to have strong interpersonal skills.

Group Marketing Manager – full or part-time. This is a very exciting role involving the development and execution of the group marketing strategy including our cafes, garden centre, nationwide e-commerce business and landscaping business throughout Munster.

Group HR Manager – part-time role. Our business is built on people so recruiting and developing our team is a big job. The right candidates will be tasked with developing and executing the HR strategy for the group.

Food and Beverage Manager – required to work weekends. This can be a full or part-time role, but it does involve weekend work. Experience in a busy hospitality environment is necessary for this job. It’s a challenging and exciting role and the right candidate will be well remunerated.

Retail Manager – required to work weekends. This can be a full or part-time role, but it does involve weekend work. Managerial experience in a busy retail environment is necessary for this job. It’s a challenging and exciting role and the right candidate will be well remunerated.

Retail, admin and support all-rounder – required to work weekends. The right candidates will have experience in retail and back office applications. Training will provided but the candidate will need to demonstrate a high degree of versatility as this role will be varied.

eCommerce SEO/PPC Specialist – the right candidate will develop and execute the strategy for a wide range of digital marketing-related activities, projects and initiatives spanning SEO, PPC, and Paid Social.
