WITH the outdoor summer continuing for the time being, one hotel in Tralee took the initiative in early June to create something special so customers and guests can dine in comfort away, protected from the elements.
The new outdoor, covered and heated terrace area at The Meadowlands Hotel has been open for the last few weeks and it’s become hugely popular.
“It opened on June 11, and we have been overwhelmed with the reaction and support since opening,” said Heather MacIver of The Meadowlands Hotel.
“The terrace is located just off our spacious bar and restaurant and adjacent to our beautiful private gardens. We are delighted to have the facilities to welcome Al Fresco diners in a comfortable and spacious setting which is fully covered and equipped with outdoor heaters,” she added.
The Meadowlands is taking bookings on the terrace for breakfast, lunch and dinner. “We highly recommend a reservation, however walk in service may be available during off peak times,” continued Heather.
“Support local is the theme of our restaurant, bar and terrace menus. Our Seafood is directly sourced from our own fish company Iasc Uí Mhathuna in Dingle. Our delicious pies in house from Pióg Pies. We look forward to welcoming you!” concluded Heather.
