BOYS AND GIRLS U10S
The St. Brendan’s Boys and Girls U10s hosted the Ballybunion Wildcats in a very entertaining and enjoyable evening of basketball in Moyderwell last Friday.
First up were the Boys under their coach Joanne Walsh who took on the visitors in a very good contest with a great display of skills on show. In a very even contest both sides showed good defence and offence throughout with some great scores from each side.
Next up were the Girls with coaches Deirdre Hartnett and Denis Sugrue who took on their North Kerry rivals.
The game was highly entertaining with St. Brendan’s dominating and showing some great defence and fast breaks leading to a number of excellent scores. Ballybunion showed great courage and determination to battle away to the finish.
Well done to everyone involved in a what was a great advertisement for the underage structures in the club and the level of talent and skill that exists in both sets of teams.

IRISH TV TRALEE WARRIORS
The Irish TV Tralee Warriors went down to Pyrobel Killester in a thrilling encounter in Clontarf last Saturday.
Despite trailing by 21 in the last quarter the Tralee side went ahead in the dying moments of the game only to be denied by a crucial winning score from the hosts.
We wish them the very best of luck as they continue with Superleague duty on Saturday night in Tralee when they take on Commercial.IE Eanna. Tip off is at 8.00pm so make sure you get there early.
