Irish Heart Foundation: Following on from the Mike Fitzgerald Memorial game which raised funds for the Irish Heart Foundation as a thank you and appreciation for everyone the Irish Heart Foundation are bringing a mobile unit to Ardfert on Thursday April 27th.
This will be situated in Ardfert Church carpark from 9am to 5pm on the day. It’s a Free walk-in service, so no appointments. On board the unit there is two rooms. Your blood pressure and pulse can be checked. These are a major factor in detecting heart disease. You can also have a chat on general health issues. everyone welcome.

Senior’s: North Kerry Senior Hurling League Result: Causeway 0-07 v St Brendan’s 1-19. Next game for our seniors is at home to Ballyduff in Round 5 of the Senior Hurling County League Division 1 on Friday April 21st, throw in time to be confirmed.
Intermediates: Our North Kerry Intermediate League game against Tralee Parnell’s did not go-ahead last week due the bad weather and pitches been unplayable, they are due to start their Senior Hurling County League Division 2 fixtures away to Lixnaw on Wednesday April 19th with throw in at 7pm and on the Wednesday April 26th they are at home to Rathmore.
U13’s: Our U13’s begin their season Tuesday April 18th at home to Kilgarvan, game throws in at 7:15pm in the ARC.
Ardfert GAA Golf Classic: On March 31st Tralee Golf Links hosted the Ardfert GAA Golf Classic, this was a joint fundraiser for St Brendan’s Hurling Club and Ardfert Football Club, Results were as follows, 1st Place: 88 points: Joe Stack, Liam Hussey, Philomena Stack and Mike O’Halloran. 2nd place: 86 points: Kieran Foley, James Long, Derek Kelly, Jason Foley. 3rd place: 81 points: Mike Stack, Jim McCarthy, John O’Callaghan, Chris Sullivan. 4th place: 81 points: Gary O’Driscoll, Cormac Foley, James Kelliher, Louis O’Connell. Nearest to the Pin: Kieran O’Keeffe. Longest Drive: Harry O’Callaghan.
