St.Brendan’s Hurling Club/Ardfert gaa lotto draw took place in McElligotts Bar. The jackpot was €1,300 and there was no winner. The numbers drawn were 8, 14, 23 & 26. The lucky dip winners were €75 Ed Delaney c/o Kate Brownes, €40 Xavier Lovett Barrow, €25 Colm Griffin Hazel Grove. Next week’s draw takes place in The Abbey Tavern with a jackpot of €1,400 and remember if your not in you can’t win!!

Div 1 Co Hurling League we are due to play Causeway in this league on Saturday next in Ardfert @4pm. Please check with club officials re confirmation of same.
Round 2A Allianz Hurling League Kerry v Antrim unfortunately ended with Kerry going down to Antrim on a score line of 2-14 to 2-20 in Austin Stacks Park on Sunday last. Kerry now need Antrim to take points off Offaly to secure a place in the final. St. Brendan’s were represented by Eric Leen, Fionan MacKessy, Darren  Delaney and Nathan  O’Driscoll.

50/50 Split the Bucket This week’s winner for the 50/50 Cashback draw is Tess Sheehy who won €214 the draw took place in Kate Browne’s Bar & Restaurant. The next 50/50 Cashback draw will take place on the 15th of March in the Abbey Tavern. Simply put €2 in the special envelopes that are available at the following locations Horgan’s Centra, Ardfert Post, The Abbey Tavern,  Kate Browne’s Bar & Restaurant, Turnin Headz, Ardfert Pharmacy and The Tech Co in Tralee for your chance to become the next lucky winner.

U14 The U14 team continue to train on Monday evenings in Banna Astro Turf between 7-8pm.  Please bring €2.

Membership Please ensure that anyone that is still to register this year with the club, have it done this week, so that they are covered for training and taking part in the upcoming games.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade The inaugural St. Patrick’s Day parade is being held for the first time ever this year in Ardfert. We are hoping that the Hurling Club will participate in this fantastic community event & are hoping for all of our players both young & old will come out on the day in their colours. More details to follow.
