REPORTS

U13 Trip To Galway

Last weekend the U13 Park Lads travelled to the “City of the Tribes” to take on the cream of the Galway Schoolboy League in a series of 3 pre-season friendly games versus Galway Hibs, Knocknacarra FC and Mervue Utd. In all 3 games the Park lads played some outstanding, quality football, passing and moving the ball with great confidence and battling hard when required against some of the toughest opposition Galway City had on offer.

A superb squad performance over the weekend which will stand to us in the up and coming league and Cup campaigns. But it wasn’t just about the football, the lads had a great time at “The Planet” bowling, laser tag, pool etc.

There was mighty craic & banter also between the lads and the management team over the weekend!! Credit to the lads for their exemplary conduct both on and off the field through out the trip.

Overall the trip was a huge success!! which would not have been possible without the help and co-operation of the parents through the various fundraising events. A special thanks to Pat, Gary, Kiwi and Ian whose help over the weekend ensured that everything ran smoothly. “Bul a Bos” to all who helped us in anyway!!!
