St Brendans Park FC Club News

Our academy for ages 6 to 10 years continues every Saturday from 10.0am to 11.30am until October 31st 2016. The academy will return again in March 2017 . All our coaches are fully qualified so your child is guaranteed the very best of Coaching .Proof of this is that our academy has been running since 2006 and over 100 kids attend everySaturday. Please insure that you bring Shin pads, water, jackets etc. All parents are welcome to watch the whole session or arrive a little early to see how much fun their child is having. If you would like to get involved yourself in any way, just ask one of our coaches for assistance on how to do this.  All new members welcome. St Brendan’s Park U8’s & U9’s sides travelled to play Camp Fc at the Camp community centre on Saturday October 1st. It was another great morning for the players who played in at least 3 matches each. Both clubs brought big numbers to play which is a great sign for the future.

The Park players showed great skill and determination on a cold morning and both clubs enjoyed some great wins in the series of matches.

Thanks to Camp FC for hosting us and thanks also to the parents of our players for bringing the players to Camp. The earlySaturday mornings are worth it and most importantly, the players are enjoying their football.

The Park U14A’s continued their excellent early season form with a good win over Mastergeeha at Christy Leahy Park on Saturday. Darragh Caplis gave a man of the match performance scoring five goals with Ryan Guerin ,Tomas O’Sullivan ,Cian Brosnan and David Callaghan scoring one each . All in all, a very good performance from this talented group of players who all played their part. Special mention for Graham Sheehy who covered for the injured Sean Broderick in goals.
