REPORTS ;
(Youths) League ;
Park Fc 4-1 CS Abbeydorney ;

We picked up another win on Saturday as we look to secure a place in the league semi finals . Although it was way off the standards that we set for our selves we know we cannot perform like this again and expect to win . We fell behind to a dubious penalty but were level a few minutes later with the aid of a dubious penalty of out own which was expertly finished by Ferdia o Brien . The second half saw a much better performance but still not as good as we know we can be . Paddy Collins put us ahead after being played in by Gareth Hickey Brosnan.

The lead was extended wen Aaron o Keefe picked out the run of Donagh o Brien whose first time effort was saved but like any good striker he followed up to finished home the rebound . The final goal was scored by Man of the match Emmanuel Abubakar who got his reward for his huge work rate through out the game . Team, Conor Hurley , Aaron o Keefe , Segun Duyile , Gearoid Savage , Tommy Lynch , Dwyer Tobin , Ferdia o Brien , Emmanuel Abubakar , Paddy Collins, Sean Dukes , Gareth Hickey Brosnan , Sub Used Donagh o Brien .

(U14) Premier ;
Killorglin A 1-4 Park Fc A ;

These two premier sides went into this fixture unbeaten in the league and served up a great match. Park started strong and controlled the first half with Killorglin relying on the counter attack. Parks struck first thru Leon Shalemba on fourteen minutes with Killorglin hitting back from a set piece levelling the game. Parks inform striker Sean McGrath hit back with a brace a sweet left foot strike from acute angle and his second showed great composure in a crowded area to pick his spot and give his side two goal lead at the break.

Killorglin started the second half with a strong wind at their backs and had Park pushed back and under pressure but Parks back five of James Sheehan, Conor Myers, Paddy Rourke and captain James Rusk and marshalled by Conor Hayes Parks goal custodian stood strong and disciplined. Park fourth goal by Junior Bio killed off any hope of a Killorglin fight back. Best for Park; James Sheehan, James Rusk, Poga McCannon, Leon Shalemba . Man of Match; Sean McGrath .

(U12) Div 2 ;
Park C 3-3 Killarney Celtic B ;

We had the strong wind behind us from kick off and were creating good chances up front. After 15 minutes Marcelo put us in front with a great volley from 20 yards. Then we seemed to sit back and let Celtic back in it and they scored twice within 5 minutes to go ahead. Just before half-time Evan made it level with a typical good strikers goal.

The second half even against the gale we improved our game 100% and on 45 minutes we went ahead through another fine goal from Evan after Cianan had put him through with a great pass. Celtic then had to go for it but with Odhran having his best game in a Park jersey at centre-half, it looked as if we would pick up the 3 points but Celtic equalised with a well taken free kick on 55 minutes. Overall it was a much improved display all round especially in the second half with Man of the Match going to Odhran Cronin for an outstanding game.
