REPORTS ;
(Youths) League ;
Park Fc 4-2 AC Athletic ,
We picked up another three points on Saturday and are now guaranteed a place in the league semi finals . On a very windy day we started against a very strong wind but took control of the game with some patient passing very early on . The opening goal came from Ryan Dolan who from twenty yards on the left side of the pitch curled the ball into the far top corner for an outstanding opening goal after 16 minutes .The remainder of the half saw us dominate the possession stakes without creating many real scoring opportunities . AC Atheltic levelled the game just before the half time break when some sloppy play outside our own area left them in to score . The second half started and the wind decided to change direction and go against us again . This didn’t seem to phase the team who had now started to pass and move more sharply . We went back inform on 53 minutes when Dwyer Tobin drill the ball low across the face of the goal to where Aaron O Keefe came in at the back post to roll the ball passed the advancing keeper . Twelve minutes later we extended our lead when Fergal Ryan decided to round three players inside the penalty box before rolling the ball passed the keeper from six yards out . From here on we should have pushed on to kill the game off but a horror pass from our keeper Conor Hurley was intercepted and fired to the back of the net to bring AC Athletic back into the game . Within two minutes we regained out two goal lead when a Dwyer Tobin volley from outside the penalty area flew into the far bottom corner for a fantastic finish and a goal worthy of winning any game . We could have added to the scoring in the remainder of the game but for an offside decision being given against us on every attack that we had for the remaining twenty minutes . We now have two league games remaining and one more win would make sure we finish top of the section and secure a home semi final . Best for Park on the day were Sean Tansley , Emanuel Abubakar , Jamie Clifford , Segun Duyile . Man of the Match with a goal and an assist was Dwyer Tobin .Team ; Conor Hurley , Sean Tansley , Segun Duyile , Sean Kelliher , Jamie Clifford , Sean Dukes , Paddy Collins , Emanuel Abubakar , Dwyer Tobin , Ryan Dolan , Fergal Ryan . Subs Aaron o Keefe for Ryan Dolan .

(U15) Div 1 ;
Killarney Celtic B 1-1 Park B ,
On a wet windy Saturday afternoon in Celtic Park, the game got under way  with Shane putting a ball through to Conor who passes it through to Nemanja whose shot goes wide. Park are on the attack again with Aaron running down the wings puts a lovely cross in to John but his shot is saved by the keeper. Against the run of play Killarney get the ball down the wing and the player passes through to his forward who runs towards the goal and slots it past the Park keeper into the net 1-0 Killarney. Park get a free kick outside the box which James takes but is saved by the keeper. The game flows from end to end with the Park defence of Dean ,James ,Jack and John clearing everything that came their way and kept Killarney out. Shane and Conor Higgins playing well in midfield putting ball after ball through to Aaron  and Josh on the wings ,Aaron gets a ball through to him on the wing and runs down towards the goal but his shot is saved by the Killarney keeper. From a free kick by James the ball comes into the box but Shane’s shot hits the post and goes out for a goal kick. Aaron takes a throw to josh who gives it to Shane but his shot is put out for a corner which Conor O’Brien takes and once again Aaron’s shot is saved. Second half gets under way with Park putting the pressure on, mounting attack after attack with shots from Shane, Conor O’Brien and Aaron all being saved by the Killarney keeper. Jack gets the ball on the edge of the Park box  and puts a ball through to Nemanja who puts a ball through to  Conor who has his shot saved by the keeper. The ball breaks down the wing and Conor puts a ball through to Edward but the ref blows for offside . Conor Higgins puts a ball  through to Conor  O’Brien who has his shot saved by the keeper. James takes a free kick outside the box and Aaron’s shot goes over the bar. The Killarney keeper makes saves after save despite Park having most of the possession in the second half  and just when it looked like Killarney were going to claim all three point.  John puts the ball through to Aaron who crosses into the box the ball is passed out to Jamal who rounds a defender and  puts the ball into the net to make it 1-1 and give Park a well deserved point.
