Under 11 (2007)

Our under eleven A boys finally got their schoolboy career going at the weekend when the headed to Ballybunion to play LB Rovers. Some happy boys who more than happy to show off their skills.

Under 12 (2006)

Our U12B team will host Camp Juniors at 10am Saturday morning.

Under 13 (2005)

Our under thirteen teams are both were victorious last  week with the A team defeating Aisling Annacotty B by six goals to nil in the Skecher SFAI Cup and our B team narrowly shading  Kilorglin B with that game finishing three goals to two in Christy Leahy Park.

It started out a nice morning in Christy Leahy Park for the under 13 game between our U13B’s and Killorglin B but just after kick off at midday it got very windy. We tipped off against the wind and had the upper hand from the beginning with Dylan Hobbart scoring after just 3 minutes. We were playing lovely football with some great moves cutting through the middle of the Killorglin defence.

However 5 minutes later a kick out by the Park keeper Keith Cotter, who had a great game, was caught by the wind and fell to the Killorglin attack and they made the most of it to equalise. Half way through the half, excellent play in midfield saw the ball played forward and between Dylan and Rodrigo Pinho who worked well together, Rodrigo stuck the ball in the Killorglin net to make it 2-1.

We continued to dominate the game with excellent play in mid field, Sean Moynihan played a super game running all over the field, working hard and winning the ball. Just before half time however, Killorglin equalized to leave the score 2-2 at the break.

The weather turned bad for the start of the second half with very heavy rain. We again controlled the play and put in an excellent display and were rewarded with the winning goal scored by Conor Cronin 10 minutes from the end to leave the scoreline at 3-2 in our favour.

The whole team are to be congratulated, they played as a unit, great contributions from everyone involved, Eoghan Bradshaw, Tadgh Foley, Dean Mc Elligott, Jack Slattery, Danial O Connor, Cillian O Mahony, Jamie Williams, Ghazi and Ade.

Well done guys

Under 15 (2003)

Both our under fifteen teams had very performances in  their fixture at the weekend with our A team  playing Mastergeeha in the Skechers SFAI cup on Tuesday night with a convincing five goals to nil scoreline.

Goals in that game courtesy of John O’Connor getting two with Dan Fisher, Leon Gallagher and James Charles getting one each to put us into the fourth round.

While our B team took on Windmill United on Saturday moring in the KDL narrowly being beaten by two goals to one.

Some great performances on the day by the lads with Leonit Salihat having a great game taking home the man of the match reward while his twin brother Leonard scored the goal.
