U13B Match report below.

What a beautiful morning for a game, no wind or rain, nice and bright and calm. Park under 13 B kicked off at 10.10 against Killarney Athletic and commanded things right from the start with lots of attacking football and striker Dylan Hobbart finding the back of the net after only 2 minutes. It was a sign of things to come as Park were playing in the Killarney half most of the time. At the 10 minute mark after lovely link up play Jack Slattery put Park 2 up. The onslaught continued and 5 minutes later Cillian made it 3. Two minutes later Dylan scored his second. Shortly after that Rodrigo Pinho the smallest player on the pitch scored a fantastic flying header, the goal of the game and the season so far. What Dylan was able to do Jack could do as well and scored his second after 25 minutes. It was time for a break and Park came in at half time 6-0 up.

Much of the play was in the Killarney half of the pitch leaving little for keeper Conor Foley to do but when called upon he was excellent coming for the ball when he should have and staying on his line  at the right times.

Things were a little slower in the second half and a new attitude by Killarney saw them have some of the play and a mix up with Parks keeper and full back saw them snatch a goal back. Having conceded a goal Dylan decided it was time for his hat trick and with a good solo run from the half way line got it. That turned out to be the last of the scoring in the game. It was a pleasure to watch the team work, the one twos and the cohesive movement.

Well done to everyone, another 3 points in the bag.
