Under Eleven(2007)

Well done to both park U11 teams who played two great games against Camp earlier today. Great sportsmanship and skill was on display by both teams. The teams were captained by Ciaran O Connell and Richard Casey.

Congratulations to the Player’s MOTM Ryan Driscoll & Daniel Sheehy. Managers MOTM: Jamie McCarthy & Lee Wharton. Special thanks to Camp for travelling in to us to ensure the fixture wasn’t effected by the bad weather.

Under Twelve (2006)
On Saturday our u12A headed to Killarney to face Killarney Celtic. The game was less then two minutes old when a clearance was sliced in to our net to put us a goal behind.

Having been rattled by own goal we conceded again within two minutes following a bit of indecision in our back line.

At two nil after 4 mins into the game it’s a tough ask for any team to find their way back in to the game but the lads slowly found their feet and began to play some excellent football and had a couple of chances but the Celtic keeper stood firm. In the 20th minute, we were caught on the counter attack to make it three – nil, when it looked as if we were going to get a goal ourselves.

To be fair to the boys they dusted themselves down and went right back at it and got a goal though Justin O’Sullivan after great work from Andrew Kerins down the right. It was a much deserved after some great build up play. Three goals to one at half time and we believed that we were truly going to come back into the game.

Within a minute of the restart Celtic got a corner, a great delivery into the box, goalkeeper Oshìn got a good hand on to the cross but it fell kindly to the Celtic forward to tap home. Again the lads had it all to do at four goals to one but they showed some real character to keep going which is not easy when your losing by three goals.

We were had Celtic pinned back in their own half and we pulled a goal back when Jack Slattery’s shot was parried into the path of Justin who made no mistake with his emphatic finish.

Out lads grew in confidence with that goal and at for goals to two we were in control of the game. We got a corner which Jack Slattery put in and it show how made it’s way through a host of bodies and Ryan McMahon made no mistake when a cool finish.

The lads now were only a goal behind at four – three. We threw caution to the wind and pushed hard for the equaliser but to no avail. Celtic put the game to bed with two late goals to leave the final score at  six -three.

All Credit to the team for a great performance regardless of the score line.

Best on the day were Jack Slattery, Andrew Kerins and Seamus Kelly with Man of the match going to Justin O’Sullivan.

Under Fourteen (2004)
Our U14A go to Killarney to play Killarney Celtic kickoff in the league. The two Pats will be hopeful that they can keep their recent good form going after a couple of comprehensive wins in their last games.

Under Sixteen (2002)
Both our under sixteen teams are in action this weekend our A team is in Killorglin for a 10.45 kickoff while our B Team are in
Mastergeeha with a 11.45am kickoff in that game.

Youth Team (2001)

Our youth team had a massive win this weekend when the faced Kilfrush Crusaders in the Munster Youth Cup. The final score in that game was two- one. Goals form Shane Jordan and David Oba were enough to put us in the last eight of the competition. Well done to Tadgh Healy and his squad on that Result. With that being said this group will have no time to rest as they head for
Castleisland in the Denny Youth League on Saturday next.

Senior Team

Our Senior Team will play Fenit Samphires in the Greyhound Bar Cup. The Greyhound Bar Cup is Kerry most prestigious cup competition so the lads This will a tough test for our lads ,who are sitting top of the table albeit with a couple of games played more than the other teams, as Fenit are a few divisions higher than us. All support is greatly appreciated for this game.
