Under 12s

Annascaul 2-17
St pats 2-4

St pats under 12 s travelled to Annascaul on Sunday last and put up a very good performance against a very strong annascaul team. It was a great team performance and all played very well and put in a huge effort and we were up against it from start to finish.

Opening score went to annascaul which was followed up by a save from David Fiado which created a score for Tomas O’Sullivan which was followed by a point from Danny Greaney. A great clearance from Jade Harkins set up Cillian Lynch for a very well taken goal.

Danny, Tomas and cillian worked hard through out the game. Our defence of David and Nathan Moriarty after in goals both cleared many balls and the backs of Michael Doody and Matthew Quilter who went off injuried along with Liam O’ Sullivan , Diarmuid Griffin and Oisin Murray all played very well. Jade who was getting on the ball and scored a great point after great defending from Michael.

Our forwards of Colin Doody, Sean Crowley, Corey O’Shea Oisin Tobin and Aaron Murphy all did very well and got plenty of the ball after coming on. St. pats were under pressure right from the start but wit the help of danny and micheal they defended well.

A great save by Nathan who cleared the ball up to Aaron who passed it in to corey who scored a great goal. This was followed by a point from Tomas .Annascaul were very strong on the night and kicked some great scores but all of the st pats team kept going and showed great heart through out.

Nathan and David both played well when in goal s our backs of Michael, Matthew, Liam, Oisin, and Diarmuid who came on all played well and soaked up as much of the pressure that they could.

Tomas and Danny linked up well and covered alot of ground and never gave up. They were assisted by the full of heart forwards Cillian , Jade ,Colin, Sean and super subs Oisin, corey and Aaron all playing very well. Well done all and congrats to annascaul who played very well.
