There was no winner of our Club lotto draw on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 08, 12, 22 & 24. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Tom Leen Derryquay, Sinead Trant Hare St., Stephen Murphy Curraheen, Noreen Cronin Killarney & Mary Kate O Shea Ashgrove. Next week’s Lotto will have a jackpot of €3,800 and the draw will take place this Sunday night January 11th in O Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle 2014:

Calling all cyclists! Dust down the bikes as the Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle takes place Saturday, January 10th at11:00am from St. Pat’s GAA Club, Blennerville. The cycle will travel to Castleisland town centre and home followed by deserved refreshments, tea and coffee in Quane’s Bar, Blennerville. Enquiries to Maurice Hanafin  (087)2998206 and George Poff  (087)6814799.Unfortunately due to the provision of Insurance and Ambulance a fee of €5 per person to a maximum of €15 per family will be charged on the day. Registration will commence from 9:30. See you there. This is a fun cycle led by a pace car. The celebrations will continue on Saturday night with an anniversary Mass in Curraheen at8pm, a music session in Quane’s Bar, where hot food & refreshments will be served. Keep the date free & come out to celebrate the memory of Jimmy Duffy. All are welcome.

Juvenile  Academy:

Our young stars from ages u 6, u8 and u10 return to training on Sunday next January 11th.  Our young cubs have had a long hibernation over the winter and we are expecting a great turnout of enthusiastic youngsters ready for the new season in Tralee Sports Complex at 11am.  All new players and families are particularly welcome.

Buskers Music Group:

Our young singers and musicians will restart on Friday next at 7.15pm in the clubhouse.  Thanks to Mary O’Sullivan and James Allman for their great work in tutoring this group.  All newcomers are very welcome.

Administration/I.T. Role::

The club is looking for people to help out in administration, communications and coaching so if you are willing to commit to 1-2 hours per week, we would love to have you on board. Contact Club Secretary Terry Boyle on 086-2361687 or email secretary.Stpatricksblennerville.kerry@gaa.ie

Strictly Come Dancing:

A limited number of DVD’s are available to buy at €10. Contact Jimmy Mulligan on 087-6987700 to book one.

Derryquay National School Coin Collection:

So many of us have coins lying around the house. How about putting them to good use. The children of DerryquaySchool will accept your coin of any denomination. The monies collected will be divided between the Irish Cancer Society and Derryquay School fund. The Irish Cancer Society is the charity chosen by the children themselves. Coins may be dropped at the school during school hours. Alternatively you may contact any member of the school community to collect it from you.

Blennerville Senior Citizens Party:

This party takes place next Sunday January 11th in O’Rahilly’s Clubhouse commencing @1.30pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
