There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €10,900. The numbers drawn were 07, 21, 23 & 24. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Joe & Fiona Costello, Tonevane; Emer Ui Hogain Caheranne; Kate Brosnan c/o Martina Hanafin; M O’Connell c/o Tony Casey & Carmel Lacey Derrymore East. This week’s jackpot will be €11,000 and the draw will take place this Sunday night June 15th at 10pm in Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

Juvenile Academy
The Juvenile Academy continues this Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm and at 10:30am on Sunday morning. If there is anyone willing to help out the academy coaches on these night, it would be greatly appreciated. Under 12’s & U14’s
Our u12’s made the long journey to Templenoe last Sunday evening to play against a very strong side. Templenoe dominated most positions in the field and we were up against it from beginning to end. However we did see some lovely scores. A goal from Tomas and Mario and points from Tomas and martin. Every player worked hard throughout the game and never gave up. Team: Matthew Quilter, Cormac Lynch, Danny Greaney, Mikey Healy, Michael Doody, Tomas o Sullivan, Samuel Alubakar, Mario Ilavsky, Liam O’ Sullivan, Cillian Lynch, Martin Launcher, Eric Pula, Sean Fitzgibbon, Daniel Moriarty, Sean Crowley and Jack Walsh. The internal blitz continues this Wednesday from 6:30pm

Juniors
Our Junior team had another convincing win over Churchill in the Junior County League. Final Score was 2-12 to 1-4. They have now qualified for the knockout stages with two games left to go. This Friday night sees our juniors in action against Charlie Kerins. Throw in is at 7:30pm in Blennerville.

Seniors
After a long break, the county league continues this weekend with our seniors traveling to Listry this Sunday. Throw in is at 2:30pm.

Cúl Camps
The Kellogg’s GAA Football Camp will take place in Blennerville from July 28th to August 1st . The camp is for boys & girls aged 6 to 13. We would hope to increase on the huge numbers that we had last year. Each child will be given free sports gear. GAA players will teach the skills of Gaelic Football in a safe and fun filled environment from Monday to Friday 10am to 2.30pm.

St Brendan’s N.S. Blennerville
We would like to thank all the families and friends of the school who contributed clothes to our Bag2School campaign last week. We raised an incredible €860. On Thursday 29th, the older children in the school, with some parents, teachers and (lovely to have you too) Fr Francis cycled to Fenit with a garda escort. Fenit life boat was waiting when we arrived at the pier and the sun shone on us for the day. I think it is a day everyone will remember. Derryquay NS We wish everyone all the best for our School Tour on Wed 11th of June & hope that everyone has a great day.
End of Year Bar B Que This will be held in the school on Fri 13th June at 5.30pm. All are welcome.

New York GAA Visit Former player Kevin Moriarty will bring Rockland GAA club from upstate New York to visit our club on June 23rd. Our juveniles will play our New York friends in a game and afterwards we will have a bar b que and music (weather permitting). Time will be 6.15pm and all are welcome to meet & greet our welcome guests.

Juvenile League Our internal league got off to a great start on Wed last. Great skill & committment was displayed by all players. After one round the lead is shared by Leinster, Connaught & Ulster on 4 pts each with Munster on a duck egg ! Round two will be played this Wednesday June 11th.
