Juvenile Academy

U6: Well done to Lilly Deegan, Oscar Curran and Jayden Sinnot who put in a great training session last Sunday morning in the blistering sunshine but a huge well done to James Riordan who received our player of the week trophy by showing great skill and determination throughout the session. Keep up the good work.

U8: The academy for our U8 panel continued on Sunday morning and it is great to see everyone developing their skills and progressing well.

U10: St Pats U-10’s were back with our academy action last Sunday morning. Over the hour each player put in a great effort to fine tune their football skills. Especially Grainne Breen, Daniel Sheehy, Michael Enright  & Jack Costello. It’s important all our players keep practising their skills at home during the week. Naomh Padraig Abú…
U12 Girls: St Pats played Austin stacks B in the Town League last Wednesday in Blennerville and won in style after an incredible second half performance in which our opponents didn’t score a single point as we ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of St Pats 5-08 Austin Stacks B 2-01.Both sides were fairly equal in the first half with st Pats scoring 2-04 to Austin Stacks’ 2-01 with our goals coming from Rachel Mulgrew and Caoimhe Dairo. It was one-way traffic in the second half as our girls completely dominated all area of play. Overall, it was a very good performance based on hard grafting and team work as we’d no substitutes to call on.Team and scorers: Sinead Murphy, Ailbhe Daly, Keelin Enright, Sarah Brett, Caoimhe O’Sullivan, Rachel Mulgrew (1-0), Emily Roche, Kayla O’Connor, Lisa Rowan (0-03), Caoimhe Dairo (2-02), Emma Healy, Siobhan O’Sullivan, Grainne Breen (2-03).Our next game is way to Churchill this Tuesday, 29th August in the Old Field. Throw-in is at 7pm.

U12 Mixed: Na Gaeil 5-13; St Pat’s 1-7
We played a decent first half, with scores coming from Callum (a point), Fionn (2 points) and Seanie (a goal),but still trailed by 3 points at the break.  The defenders played really well in that first period, particularly Seanie who also got forward well to support the midfield and forwards. The second half brought back the familiar problems with a lack of concentration, less intensity in the tackles, and less threat in attack which led to the hefty scores conceded this half.

Squad: Paddy Moran, James Dowling, Eddie Stack, Thomas Sheehy, Josh Quilter, Seánie Murphy, Caoimhe Dairo, Callum Houston, Fionn Dairo, Rory Kelliher, Keelin Enright, Orla Murphy, Eddie Stack, Caoimhe O’Sullivan and Daniel Sheehy.
We have a bye this week, so training continues on the usual days.It is important that everyone turns up for training.

U13: Our U13’s will play Churchill this Tuesday, the 29th in the Tralee Town Board League at 7pm. Venue is the new pitch.

U16: We will be competing in Div. 1 of the Tralee Town Board League and are grouped with Austin Stacks, Na Gaeil, Kerins O’Rahillys and Ardfert. Thecompetition will begin on Wednesday, 6th of September with our first game away to Austin Stacks at 6.30pm. We wish Luke, James, Eoin and the panel the best of luck in this competition
