Juvenile Academy

U6: Well done to Tomas Colivet, Noah Flynn, Jessica O’Connor Fitzgerald and Dylan Murphy who put in a great training session last Sunday morning but a huge well done to new member, Clara Herbage who received our player of the week trophy by showing great skill and determination throughout the session. Keep up the good work.

U8: The U8 Academy boys and girls had a good outing last Sunday and everyone had lots of fun learning their skills. We are having our last Academy session for this year this Sunday, 22nd

October at 10.30am so we hope to see you all there for a bit of fun.

U10: St Pats U-10’s  were back with our academy action last Sunday morning. All our players put in a great effort over the hour especially Darragh Murphy, Jack Costello, Eddie Stack and Garry Scollard. The curtains will come down on our Academy next Sunday 22nd so we hope all our St Pats U-10 stars who took part during the year will be there for a final morning of fun. It’s important all our players keep practising their skills at home. Naomh Padraig Abú.

U12 Girls: Challenge game against Annascaul is being organised for this Saturday, 21st in Camp. Throw-in is at 3.30pm.

Astro Pitch

Our all-weather astro pitch is available for hire at very competitive rates. It is flood-lit, so training or whatever use you may have for it can also be accomplished in the evenings now that the days are getting shorter. Contact James Costello on 0862908735 for booking and more information.

Minor Football Championship Final

St Brendan’s narrowly lost in the final of the MFC last Saturday evening when East Kerry defeated them in a pulsating encounter played in Austin Stacks Park. Final scores were East Kerry 2-14 St Brendans 1-15.

Well done to the entire panel especially the St Pats contingent of Eoin Greaney (0-5, 3 frees), Brian Murphy (saved a goal bound ball by putting his body on the line) and Fergal O’Brien (didn’t feature) for their gallant display.
