Lotto

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 13, 20, 21 & 26.

The five €30 consolation prizes went to Con O Shea Curraheen, Eileen Higgins Lohercannon, Margaret Enright Ballyseedy, John Duhig Castlegregory and Ian Sugrue c/o Tony Casey.

Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €5,400 and the draw will take place on Saturday night Dec 23rd in Skelper Quane’s Bar.

Lotto tickets can be purchased online, from any club officer or at the following outlets: Seamus O’Sullivan Master Butchers, O’Sheas Shop and Service Station, Poff Motors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quanes, Bettys Bar and Keane’s of Curraheen.

The five €30 Christmas Meat Vouchers went to Patrick O Shea Curraheen, Tom Quane Quanes Bar, Jamie McCarthy Derryquay, Eileen Walsh Tralee and William Counihan Curraheen.

Bag Packing

We will be bag packing on Thursday, the 21st December.  It is a great opportunity to raise funds for your club.  There are slots of 1 and 2 hours available in GARVEYS from 11am to 6pm.  All help will be greatly appreciated.  Contact Conor 087 675 52 26 if you are free to help. Concern

A church gate collection for Concern is being held this Saturday evening /Sunday morning, the 23rd/24th of December for Tralee Parish (St Johns and Dominican Church). Helpers are needed for this very worthy cause. Please contact Christy on 087 774 84 71.

Curraheen Christmas Variety Concert

The amount of €3,752 was raised last Sunday. Thanks to everyone who took part and supported it. The Curraheen Community Room Extension Fund now stands at €4,680 with €428 raised through a quiz and an anonymous donation of €500 for which we are also very grateful. Míle buíochas.

Blennerville N.S.

Blennerville National school’s annual Christmas carol service takes place this Tuesday, the 19th December in St John’s Church. Come and be treated to an evening of Christmas carols and festive favourites.

Christmas Carols

Curraheen Community Choir had their carol singing last Thursday evening  on the Forecourt of O’ Shea’s Blennerville. It was a lovely event with great singers and  beautiful carols, and was very well supported. All generous donations will be going to Vincent de Paul. A big thank you to all.

Coiste Na nÓg Chiarraí

Congratulations to Tadhg O’Halloran on being appointed Vice Chairman of Coiste Na nÓg Chiarraí for the 3rd year in succession at their AGM recently. We wish Tadhg success for ther year ahead.

Astro Pitch

Our all-weather astro pitch is available for hire at very competitive rates. It is flood-lit, so training or whatever use you may have for it can also be accomplished in the evenings now that the days are getting shorter. Contact James Costello on 0862908735 for booking and more information.
