Juvenile Academy

U6: We had a great session in under 6s today with high energy & fun. It was lovely to see a return of Emily, Thomas & Rachel Colivet in 2018. All tried really hard with focus today on ball handling & foot skills. Lovely to see such fun being had by Lilly & Flynn in particular.
Player of the week had to go to Grace Costello this week .. promise no bias by her mum!! She tried really hard & was committed to go to football to practice even after a trip to the doctors!
Well done to all, see you next week at 10am.

U8: Despite the cold weather on last Sunday morning our eager under-eights came running into the Cumann Iosaef Hall for another action packed session. We upped the intensity of our warm-up session and this didn’t trouble any of our players whatever about the coaches! This week we also got everyone started on the best way to give a hand-pass Being able to hand pass the ball is one of the basic skills and we want all of you to practice this at home.

One of our younger players, Blake Bowler, won the Player of the Week trophy. Blake always put in a full effort at our sessions so the trophy was well deserved Blake.

U10: Another great session was enjoyed by this young group of emerging stars, with a lot of fun and games had during the hour. It is great and encouraging to see all the kids improving weekly. Training continues next Sunday at Cumann Iosaef Hall at 11am.

U12: The  St. Pats under 12’s  Boys & Girls were training last Monday and friday. There was a good turnout and everyone put in a great effort practicing their skills at training with Eddie Stack, Daniel Sheehy, Fionn Dairo and Rory Kelliher giving it their all during the session. It is important that ye all keep attending training so we’ll be ready for the county league games when they kick off at end of March. We hope to see ye all as training continues on our Astro pitch this Monday 12th at 3.45pm to 4.45pm  and again next Friday the 16th at 5.45pm to 6.45pm.
