Cul Camp 2018

The St Pats Cul Camp takes place this week between the 6th and 10th of August from 10am to 2.30pm every day. The Camp provides boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 13 with action packed and fun-filled week of activities during the summer holidays. Cost is €60 per child with reductions (€50 for second child and €40 for third and fourth child) for additional members of the family. Booking can be made on the first morning of the Camp. Each child will receive FREE Kellog’s GAA gear and backpack. Your child can also register on the day.

Juveniles

Beale will host our Academy this Sunday, the 12th of August at 11am. Parents, please ensure that your kids are there by 10.30am. This is a great opportunity for our future stars to show case their skills especially after a week of Cul Camp activities.

U14 Girls: Our girls play their first game in the North Kerry Ladies Football League this week against Churchill in Blennerville. Date and time will be communicated to the parents early in the week, once confirmed.

U16: Our u16’s played Cordal/Scart last Wednesday in the County League but unfortunately, we were well beaten by a good side. However, we are into the Div 8 semi-finals where we will play Moyvane/Tarbert. Venue for this cross-over fixture is in Blennerville at 7pm. Annascaul/Lispole awaits the winners in the final. Best of luck to the team as they bid to qualify for the finals. Your support will be appreciated.

Seniors

Our last match in the County League is tentatively fixed for the 19th of August when we travel to Waterville for our Round 11 fixture. The time has not been fixed yet as at when going to press. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for updates.

Acorn Life U21 Football Championship
St Brendan’s Board exited the U21 Football Championship last Tuesday evening when East Kerry defeated them after extra time in a thrilling encounter played in Austin Stacks Park. Final scores were East Kerry 1-13 to St Brendan’s 0-11. All the St Brendan’s players that played gave it their all and can have no regrets despite the unfavorable outcome.

Congratulations

Congratulations to the Kerry U21 Hurling team who defeated Derry last Saturday in the U21 B Final of the Richie McElligot Cup, particularly to St Pats dual player, Jordan Conway, who lined out for Kerry and scored 1-01.

Area Mass

The Annual Area Mass will be celebrated at Curraheen Lár this Thursday 9th of August at 7.30pm. Everyone Welcome.
